History


Björnstorps and Svenstorps Fideikommiss consist of two estates that are run jointly.

Björnstorps estate, located 20 km east of Lund on the beautiful Romele ridge, is a combined agricultural and forestry company.

Earth-The species is moderately mullhaltiga moränleror the rocky moraine gravel.

Fideikommisset Björnstorp is held since 1941 by Baron Thure Gabriel Gyllenkrok and managed since 1979 by his son Baron Nils Gyllenkrok.
Baron Thure Gabriel Gyllenkrok lives since 1946 in Björnstorps castle.

Svenstorp estate, located 5 km northeast of Lund and 25 km from Björnstorps estate, is in a typical lowland agriculturaö setting, where the main estate is centrally located in the middle of the property. Fideikommisset Svenstorp is held since 1941 by Baron Thure Gabriel Gyllenkrok and managed since 1979 by Baron Nils Gyllenkrok. Svenstorps Fideikommiss also includes two forest properties in northern Skåne in total 592 ha. Baron Nils Gyllenkrok and family inhabits Svenstorps castle.
